UNTITLED is an evolving creative space for ideas in progress, exhibitions, conversations, workshops, experiments and unexpected collaborations.
Created by Life in Vacant Spaces as a temporary eight-week experiment, UNTITLED is about giving people access to central-city space to try something out. A first exhibition. A workshop. An open studio. A new event or experience. A pop-up. A conversation. Or an idea that doesn’t quite fit neatly into a box yet.
Rather than arriving with a fixed programme, the space changes with the people who use it. Each participant is invited to make UNTITLED their own — testing ideas, sharing work, connecting with new audiences and seeing what might grow from having the opportunity to put something into the world.
We’re particularly interested in uses that bring another layer to the space: exhibitions alongside artist talks or making, workshops and demonstrations, interactive experiences, gatherings, collaborations, or opportunities for people to participate rather than simply observe.
UNTITLED operates on a pay-what-you-can basis, helping keep the space accessible for emerging artists, makers, creatives and community-led ideas.
We’re currently inviting expressions of interest from artists, makers, collectives, community groups and creative people with something they’d like to test, explore or bring to life.
Ideas don’t need to be finished. They just need somewhere to begin.
