A transitional project based in Linwood/Inner City East that aims to develop the local economy and build on the community's existing strengths.

Christchurch City Council partnered with Greening the Rubble (now The Green Lab) and community development organisation Te Whare Roimata, to develop the site at 108 Stanmore Road and make it home to several small stores offering food, second hand clothing, crafts and books.

The project opened in 2018 and aims to run as long as the site is available. The wider purpose of the project is to build and encourage community interaction and connection, and provide a platform for people to experiment with new ideas.

The site hosts a variety of workshops, working bees and community events. Check out their Facebook page for details.
