Meet Beck the designer and creator behind Strawberry Hill Tea Towels, a Canterbury-based brand known for tea towels that are not only beautiful but genuinely practical.

After years of frustration with pretty tea towels that simply “pushed water around the plate,” Beck set out to design one that actually worked. The result is a range of soft, absorbent flour sack cotton tea towels that actually dry dishes while still looking lovely in the kitchen.

Each tea towel is designed in-house in Christchurch. Many designs are inspired by New Zealand nature, while others have been created in response to ideas and requests from Strawberry Hill’s wonderful customers.

This Pop-Up Shop at the Incubator is a special opportunity to see and feel the tea towels in person, explore the full range of New Zealand designs and more, and meet the designer behind the local brand.

Soft, absorbent, and thoughtfully designed — tea towels that actually dry dishes.
