Pop-up Garden

Location: Ferry Road, Woolston

Date: December 2016

Our Role: Site access, connection to services and utilities and liability insurances

This vertical Pop Up Garden was built with an easily de-constructible and movable design.

The goal of the Pop Up Gardens was to transform under utilised urban spaces into temporary productive land through the use of technologies such as container gardens and vertical structures utilising both recycled and new materials and organic growing principles.

This community garden was made from recycled untreated pallets, and was a local producer of organic edible produce and a welcoming public space. PopUp Gardens was a signatory to the Edible Canterbury Charter.
