Several members of the Art Community in Lyttelton saw a great opportunity to refresh the walls on offer at Lyttelton West School with brand new Graffiti/Street Art. This initiative encouraged growth and development in this artistic expression, where less skilled artists could connect with and learn from more skilled artists. It was, in essence, a platform for these artists to have community and connection. All of the available walls on site were painted by various artists, with their own paint and supplies, during the day, while enjoying music and each other's company.
