Makercrate creators took a shipping container and turned it into a digital fabrication lab. It is a social enterprise focused on creating open access to fabrication technology.
About the project

Makercrate founders Bridget McKendry and Carl Pavletich set out to create a “makerspace” that can be used as a vehicle to promote personal fabrication using tools such as 3d printers, 3d scanners and laser cutters. This Fab Lab is also a learning tool for people keen to explore electronics and to develop their own products, tools or prototypes.
