Alhambra Gardens were a Spanish-themed garden space uniquely located to complement the architectural style of New Regent Street. The garden was developed and built as a collaboration between landscape architect Robert Watson and the Canterbury Horticultural Society (CHS).

The garden served as an inner city oasis of exotic trees and plants until the site was taken back for rebuilding in 2017.
