Overview:
The LiVS Incubator is a unique offering that gifts innovators an accessible and affordable temporary city space to bring their visions to life. Not only do you get the space, but you also gain the guidance, support, and vast experience of the LiVS team. From funding advice to project management, we're here every step of the way. And if your project blossoms, we can help you transition into a more permanent setting.
About the Space:
Our insulated 20-foot container comes with adjustable shelving, lighting, power, basic sink facilities, and a compact storage area. Consider it a blank canvas, ready to be tailored to your project's needs. However, participants are responsible for bringing their own equipment and furniture.
Details:
- Location: 110 Cashel Street, City Centre
- Cost: $150 (inc GST) per week, inclusive of power & internet.
- Duration: Projects in the Incubator can run from a minimum of 10 days up to 2 months. Originally set to operate from 15th September 2022 to 28th February 2023, our site now enjoys an extended tenure.
Project Criteria:
To be eligible, your project should:
- Be ready-to-launch, with your commitment evident.
- Engage with the city and foster a sense of community.
- Suit a temporary setting.
- Promote public participation and interaction.
- Involve a diverse audience.
- Offer a unique perspective, distinct from existing city ventures.
Promotion and Feedback:
We can boost your project's visibility through our website and social platforms. In return, we request a project evaluation upon completion and any photos we can use for documentation.
