Assembly Point

Location: 110 Cashel Street, Central City

Date: April 16 - May 12

Our Role: Site Brokers

Assembly Point began in 2019 as a cosy art workshop, gallery and shop in Addington, led by Cecilia and Chris. It quickly became a hub for creative workshops and connection, with several makers teaching for the very first time.

In 2020, Assembly Point 2.0 took over a sunny space in Cathedral Junction with support from LiVS and Christchurch City Council, showcasing work from over 60 local creatives and running workshops for all ages, even through the challenges of Covid.

In 2025, Assembly Point 3.0 popped up in the LiVS Incubator, blending elements of past projects with a fresh mix of Ōtautahi creatives. The space offered a chance to connect, spark ideas and explore what the future of Assembly Point could look like.
