Ars Acustica

Our Role: LiVS brokered the space

 Ars Acustica was Free Theatre's first performance at the Hassals Lane site that LiVS brokered in late 2018.

Ars Acustica was an avant-garde theatrical music fair that took place in the beautifully overgrown surroundings of the space. Directed by Peter Falkenberg in collaboration with UC School of Music, under the curatorship of Mark Menzies, NZSO conductor Hamish McKeich and the CSO, it was a popular and critical success with critics labelling the show "otherworldly", "stunning" and "brilliantly diverse, virtuosic and entertaining".
