About this project

The goal of Pop Up Gardens is to transform underutilised urban spaces into temporary productive land through the use of technologies such as container gardens and vertical structures utilising both recycled and new materials and organic growing principles.

This community garden is made from recycled untreated pallets, and is a local producer of organic edible produce and a welcoming public space. PopUp Gardens is also a signatory to the Edible Canterbury Charter.
